In order to mitigate climate change and protect human health, society must find ways to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide and other pollutants in the atmosphere. Direct Air Capture (DAC) is one such promising tool for carbon reduction, and Freshean's patented DAC technology was designed specifically to meet the key industry challenges of cost, efficiency, and scalability. In prior years, Freshean has also developed a next-generation solution to solving indoor air pollution using proprietary nanotechnology.

Freshean was founded by former GE, Intel and PayPal professionals with decades of experience in interdisciplinary science research and building innovative engineering solutions to scale. Freshean owns and develops all of its technology in-house under the leadership of CEO and co-founder Dr. Xiwang (Michael) Qi, an accomplished scientist, engineer and serial inventor of 31 US patents. As a team, our goal is to use our combined expertise, experience, and passion to build the preeminent solution to climate change.
